You know how they say everyone has a ‘calling’ in life? Well, becoming a mom was one of my callings. I am not implying that I know all there is to know about motherhood, but I can confidently say that I fully trust my motherly instincts.
I know what it is like to be a first-time mom in a modern world, where we run to the internet before calling our moms, and our moms are the last people we want to listen to. And ultimately, for me at least, it seems like most of what my mom suggests ends up being what I do anyway, despite all the information I gather elsewhere.
As a mother of two darling girls, I have learned just as much about myself as I have about raising them, for the past 3.5 years. I am on a mission to become a better person, a tougher woman, and once again a successful businesswoman.
The purpose of this blog is to publicly share my joys, my lessons, my discoveries, and my concerns, with the hope that one day my daughters might sit and read some or all of these posts, and find insight into their lives. I also hope that other mothers will take comfort in my words, knowing that they are not alone in the mysterious and blissful journey of parenthood.
